2026 Filing Schedule Overview

Below is a snapshot of upcoming and recent financial report filings tracked across SEC and ASX exchanges for 2026. This table is updated daily as companies submit their reports.

SEC vs ASX Reporting Schedules

Companies listed on different exchanges follow different regulatory reporting timelines. Understanding these schedules helps investors anticipate when financial data will become available.

SEC (U.S. Exchanges)

U.S.-listed companies file with the Securities and Exchange Commission via EDGAR. Large accelerated filers must submit their 10-K annual report within 60 days of fiscal year end and 10-Q quarterly reports within 40 days of each quarter end. Smaller filers have 90 and 45 day windows respectively.

Filing Types

10-K Annual report (1 per year)
10-Q Quarterly report (3 per year, Q1-Q3)

ASX (Australian Exchange)

Companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange must lodge their annual report within 2 months of their fiscal year end. Half-year reports follow the same 2-month window. Most ASX-listed companies have a June 30 fiscal year end, creating a concentration of filings in August-September.

Filing Types

annual Full-year report (1 per year)
half_year Interim report (1 per year)

How the Reporting Calendar Works

The calendar is generated from each company's fiscal year end month and exchange-specific regulatory deadlines. It is checked daily against SEC EDGAR and ASX announcements to detect when companies actually submit their filings.

Expected vs Estimated Dates

The expected date is the regulatory deadline calculated from the company's fiscal year end and filing rules. The estimated date is a prediction based on each company's historical filing behaviour. Companies that consistently file early will show an earlier estimated date, helping you anticipate data availability.

Status Tracking

Each filing is tracked through four statuses: Upcoming (deadline is in the future), Expected (within the filing window), Received (filing submitted and confirmed), and Overdue (past the regulatory deadline with no filing detected). Overdue statuses are updated automatically as part of the daily check.

Backup Sources

When a filing isn't found on the primary source (SEC EDGAR or ASX), the system checks company investor relations pages as a backup. Some companies publish reports on their own websites before or alongside the official exchange filing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often is the calendar updated?
The filing calendar is checked daily at 06:00 UTC. The system queries SEC EDGAR and ASX announcements for new submissions and updates statuses automatically. Overdue filings are flagged on the same schedule.
What exchanges are covered?
The calendar currently tracks filings for companies listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and ASX. Coverage includes S&P 500, ASX 200, and other major index constituents.
How are expected filing dates calculated?
Expected dates are based on each company's fiscal year end month and the regulatory filing deadlines for their exchange. SEC large accelerated filers have 60-day (10-K) and 40-day (10-Q) windows. ASX companies have 2-month windows for annual and half-year reports.
What does the estimated date mean?
The estimated date is a prediction based on a company's historical filing patterns. If a company has consistently filed 15 days before the deadline over the last several years, the estimated date will reflect that pattern.
Why do most ASX filings cluster in August-September?
The majority of ASX-listed companies have a June 30 fiscal year end (aligning with the Australian financial year). With a 2-month filing window, annual reports are due by August 30 and half-year reports (for December period ends) are due by February 28.
What happens when a company files late?
Filings that have not been received by the expected deadline are automatically marked as overdue. The system continues checking daily until the filing appears on SEC EDGAR, ASX, or the company's investor relations page.
Can I get alerts for specific company filings?
The calendar API can be polled programmatically to build custom alerting. Filter by ticker and status to monitor specific companies. A webhook-based notification system is planned for a future release.
